The minor kitchen

You
enter this room from the outside too by a secondary entry door and
it preserves untouchable the features of a kitchen and living room.
Even
if it was for subordinates and therefore less important of the kitchen
facing the garden, it expresses its own charm, probably due to the
strange play of arches, forming its bearing structure.
Originally
it was an outdoor oven for bread baking, as the external smoking
chimneys witness. After the oven was put inside the present room,
which was then oppositely linked to the remaining part of the Trullo
by a connection passage. The structure of this room confirms that
the Trullo Sovrano was not built once all together; it is, instead
the wonderful result of a process of unification and following integrations
which make it the more admirable and advanced emblem of trullo shaped
architecture.
